Hansel RV Center Converts a Fleetwood Motor Home into a "Cruzin' Country Museum" and Promotes a Register to Win Contest to Give it Away

For the fourth consecutive year, Hansel RV Center in Petaluma, California in partnership with Fleetwood Motor Homes and Sonoma County Radio Station, KFGY/Froggy 92.9, has awarded a brand new Jamboree Motor Home by Fleetwood. This event, held on the Hansel RV Sales lot, was the culmination of a three month Northern California promotion that produced over 4000 entries, record new and used Jamboree sales and an overall increase in store traffic. "In the four years we've run this amazing promotion we have increased our sales of Class C Motor Homes by nearly six hundred percent", stated Tim Jasper, Hansel RV General Manager.

This year the Jamboree Motor Home was referred to as the "Cruzin' Country Museum" and was completely wrapped with removable vinyl graphics including logos and huge pictures of country superstars like The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Inside, this mobile museum was stocked with priceless country music memorabilia (including a signed maternity dress from Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks), merchandise and other prizes.

During the three-month promotion the radio station broadcast hundreds of recorded promos and live mentions as they took to the road with this attention commanding RV for special appearances at local events, including baseball games, concerts, fairs and fund raisers.

Nearly 500 contestants flooded the Hansel RV Center and watched with great anticipation as 112 finalists tried to start the Grand Prize Class "C" Motor Home with keys won from the radio station or at the event. Keary Marie Smith burst into tears as her winning key started the beautiful new Motor Home and the crowd of onlookers cheered.

The music memorabilia will be auctioned off during the St. Jude's Country Cares for Kids Radiothon in August with proceeds donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
