Demco-Dethmers Mfg. Co. has announced a new weight capacity for its Excali-Bar tow bar. Presently rated at 6,000 lbs., the Excali-Bar has now been certified to 8,000 lbs. The Demco Excali-Bar features the patented “Flex Joint” for direct attachment to a 2” receiver on the motorhome. The “Flex Joint” enables all-directional movement for fast easy hook-up to the towed vehicle. No hitch ball is used. This direct hook-up allows the Excali-Bar to be stored on the motorhome in your choice of 4 positions when not in use. The Excali-Bar is equipped with solid stainless steel extendible connecting legs that are self-supporting - allowing fast, easy 2-pin hook up to the towed vehicle. Excali-Bar is complete with an easy to use quick release tool called “The Wrench” which allows fast and easy unhooking from the towed vehicle when the legs are under pressure from uneven ground or other adverse conditions.
