New Featherlite SURV trailers designed for easy towing
and comfortable living during outdoor adventures
The new all-aluminum Sport Utility Recreational
Vehicle (SURV) trailers introduced by Featherlite can haul
a wide array of “toys” while providing the comforts of
home while at the campgrounds, on the trails or out on
the road. New for 2006, the Featherlite SURV trailers are
designed to haul ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, dune buggies,
cars and more and are available in a gooseneck or
bumper pull platform.
“Featherlite SURV trailers are stylish, easy to tow
and are functional as a home on wheels – plus garage for
recreation enthusiasts and their families,” National Sales
Manager Randy Lewis said.
Featuring a 3-degree aerodyne slope and v-nose for
easier towing, the Featherlite SURV bumper pull Model
7924 is available in 3 sizes – 20, 24 and 28 feet (not
including v-nose). Inside, outdoor enthusiasts ready for
adventure away from home can find two fold-down benches,
a refrigerator, cooktop stove, restroom with shower and
toilet, vanity with sink, cabinets, an optional pull down
queen bed in the rear, colorful graphics and more. The 28’
version includes a queen size bed in the front.
The SURV gooseneck Model 7943 is available in 3
sizes –24, 28 and 32 feet (not including gooseneck) – and
includes two fold-down benches, a queen size bed in the
gooseneck, refrigerator, cooktop stove, restroom with
shower and toilet, vanity with sink, cabinets, an optional
pull down queen bed in the rear, colorful graphics and
more.
For over three decades, Featherlite has been manufacturing
aluminum trailers for hauling cars, ATVs, snow-
mobiles, motorcycles, horses and more, while gaining expertise in designing and building
durable and innovative trailers. “Unlike some SURVs or toy haulers that are made
of steel or wood, Featherlite’s SURV trailers are manufactured with premium, corrosion-
resistant aluminum, giving people a lighter, easier towing trailer that is durable
and will withstand many miles of hauling,” Lewis said. “In addition, Featherlite SURVs
have a lower floor height that makes loading toys and equipment easier.”
Featherlite is also distinctive for building both its trailers and interiors within
the same facility. “This gives our customers detailed attention to the trailer’s design,
construction and overall quality from start to finish as well as a one-source warranty,”
Lewis said.
Featherlite has a wide array of options to choose from and can custom design
any SURV trailer complete with living quarters to a customer’s exact specifications.

Fleetwood’s 20th Anniversary Bounder
Fleetwood RV, a leading manufacturer of
recreational vehicles, has announced the launch of
the 2006 Bounder gas motor home. The launch
marks the 20th anniversary of one of America’s
most popular motor home brands. Maintaining its
original standards, Fleetwood has designed the
2006 Bounder with features emphasizing function
and value, allowing it to live up to its title of the
“Motor Home that Really Works!”
Officially introduced in 1986, the Bounder set
the standard in the motor home industry with the
first basement storage design, a feature found in
most motor homes today. Over the years, customer
feedback has helped revolutionize the Bounder,
making it more contemporary and practical while
sustaining its brand identity and
value.
The 2006 Bounder features significant
upgrades, which include
22.5” wheels, exterior graphics package,
taller windows, two new interior
decors and an increased interior ceiling.
The 84” ceilings create seven
feet of head clearance for a maximum
feeling of openness. Fleetwood
incorporated these substantial
enhancements while upholding the
Bounder's reputation as an exceptional
value motor home.
Inside, the 2006 Bounder has
all of the comforts that customers
desire, including 27” and 20” flat
screen televisions, a lounge recliner
and a glass shower with skylight. A
whole-house water filtration system
along with 50-amp electrical service
in select models create the reliability
today’s RV enthusiasts deserve. The
2006 Bounder also features more
flexibility in options, such as multiple
floor plans ranging from 32 to 36
feet with two or three slides, a fully-functional computer workstation and full-body
paint allowing the consumer to tailor the motor home to their needs and budget.
“With the help of customer feedback, the Bounder has remained true to its origins
over the past 20 years while retaining its status as an innovator in the industry,”
said Chris Braun, Executive Vice President of Fleetwood RV. “Fleetwood is committed
to upholding its dedication to the originality, functionality and style and we have no
doubt that our 2006 models will keep the Bounder a favorite with both our customers
and dealers.”
