WDA Executive Conference in Arizona This Month

The RV Aftermarket converges on Arizona, later this month
when WDA - the RV Aftermarket Association holds its annual Executive Conference at the
Hilton Phoenix East in Mesa, October 18 22.
The traditional format for this event is where
aftermarket suppliers set up their displays in hotel rooms and meet with warehouse
distributors by appointment to discuss programs and place orders for products for the
upcoming season. According to Jim Stanley, executive director of WDA, it's an extremely
efficient and cost effective way for suppliers and distributors to meet and it is
especially beneficial to new suppliers to the RV industry. He said, "Instead of
traveling around the United States and Canada, suppliers can see all the major
distributors in one location and meet with the key people who they may not be able to see
if visiting the distributors' headquarters."
In addition to this important business, it is also the
time when WDA holds its annual business meeting, elections and recognizes its members for
outstanding contributions to the association and the industry.
