Retirement Homesites Magazine
Retirement Homesites Magazine is the first
attempt at bringing the availability of resort
parking to the average RV owner.

Gary Mosenfelder, owner and operator, began
this quest in October 1995. He recognized that
the cost of American living had escalated and
that RV parks in many locations began charging
very expensive monthly rates. On the other
hand resorts across the country have designated
places for RV owners to park provided that they
are lot owners. For instance, if you own a lot at
Bella Vista, Arkansas, you could park at their
campground and need only pay ten dollars a day
to receive amenities including, memberships to
seven golf courses and four country clubs, reccenter
activities, use of eight lakes and a yacht
club, and to top this off you have dual rights to
amenities at Hot Springs Village - so if you get
tired of one super-resort, you can switch to the
other. “We presently have one lot in Belle Vista
advertised for only $1,200”, Mosenfelder states.
“We are presently advertising resort lots in 26
states across the country to give RV owners the
opportunity to park in all types of climates and
conditions. Our principal aim is to provide
RVers with a richer, less costly way of life,
affording them a vast array of possibilities.”
Before advertising in RV
NEWS, Retirement Homesites
made slow progress in reaching
the industry. Now, RV
dealerships across the
country have subscribed to
Retirement Homesites
Magazine and show the magazine
to prospective buyers to
demonstrate that RV living
need not be expensive! Consequently, RV buyers
can choose the more expensive model to suit
their needs.
“If an RV club purchases a resort lot, any of
its members can park on this property while
traveling through”, says Mosenfelder. “RV Clubs
can now buy lots for overnight parking along
most interstates. If the club supplies their
members with detailed maps to the property,
these members can avoid the high cost of RV
parks.” RVN
