E-T-A Series 1170 CBEs Combine with New Type 12 Terminal Block

E-T-A Circuit Breakers has just made it possible for transportation manufacturers to give their customers an attractive and totally flexible circuit protection package. Thanks to a new terminal block design, RV, bus, truck and marine builders can offer their customers the option of full-featured CBE circuit breaker protection.

E-T-A developed the new terminal block (Type 12) for its Series 1170 CBE (Circuit Breaker for Equipment). The block also accommodates automotive blade fuses.

The 1170 Series is a compact, single-pole, thermal circuit breaker specially designed for the extra low voltage wiring systems found on transportation equipment. The CBE comes with push-to-reset, tease-free, trip-free, snap-action mechanism and separate manual release. It is fitted with blade terminals for plug-in mounting and retaining clips. Current ratings are available from 6 to 25A, up to 24V DC.
