ULTIMATE ME2
We all know that emissions from the fuel we use in cars and trucks are the leading cause of pollution. But we thought that a little illustration from the State of Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality website might drive home the point.
A hypothetical car which travels an 18-mile round trip commute, 5 days/week, 48 weeks/year, spews into the air we breathe:
4,500 lbs. of Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
160 lbs. of Carbon Monoxide (CO)
16 lbs. of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
16 lbs. of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)
Smaller amounts of benzene, formaldehyde, particulate matter and other toxic materials.
ONE CAR traveling ONLY 4,320 miles per YEAR emits that much into our environment and according to EPA estimates Americans alone drive 2 TRILLION miles per year.
According to EPA estimates, over the road vehicles account for 56% of the total amount of toxins that enter our environment annually and non-road vehicles such as boats, gas burning construction machinery, off road vehicles, etc. account for an additional 22%. The above mentioned fossil fuel burning engines account for more than THREE QUARTERS of the total amount of toxins released every year!
There can be NO DOUBT that the engines we use and the fuel we burn in those engines account for 100’s of Trillions of pounds of toxins being released into our environment. NOW there is something that provides YOU the opportunity to help alleviate this toxic burden...one engine at a time!
The authoritative EPA 511 testing PROVED that Ultimate ME2 will:
