It’s that time of year again, as preparations are undergoing at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC), for the 44th edition RVIA National RV Trade Show scheduled for Nov. 28-30 in Louisville, KY - This is a Trade Only, Show is not open to the public. Although the exhibit space has been sold out for some time, you can expect a spectacular event with a total of 82 RV, park trailer and chassis manufacturers and 254 supplier companies displaying the latest models and products displayed over 750,000 square feet.
Like traditions, the KEC has hosted the National RV Trade Show for RVIA since the early 1960s. With last years opening of the new South Wing, the RVIA was able to provide exhibitors with 811,000 square feet exhibit space. This year, the East Wing/East Hall is undergoing a major transformation with a $55 million renovation.
The KEC exhibit space is down by about 176,000 square feet. According to Mike Hutya, RVIA’s Vice President of Meetings and Shows, the construction will reduce exhibit space this year, but will in no way reduce the excitement and optimism that the industry generates.
Exhibit space was assigned through a lottery system established by RVIA, which was monitored by Mark Gandolfi. Exhibitor representatives attending the lottery were Kay Royer of Al-Ko Kober Corp., and Tom Lutz of ASA.
In addition to acres of exhibits, RVIA is offering two informative seminars, located in the KEC Second Floor Ballroom.
Wednesday, Nov. 29:
Jim Jacobus will present “”A” Players Only! Who They Are … Cracking the Code for Success.” This session defines who “A” players are, what they have in common and the three critical traits that top sales people have.
Thursday, Nov. 30:
Jacobus returns with “”A” Players Only! What Top Performers Know and Do Differently.” This session focuses on what top sales people do day in and day out, the process side of selling and the people side of selling.
In addition to these seminars, hour-long proprietary seminars will be held throughout the three-day event (these sessions are offered at no cost to attendees).
Tuesday, Nov. 28:
“Outlook 2007: Market Expansion Showcase” will be kicking off the RVIA’s 44th Annual National RV Trade Show.
