U.S. Senator Ron Wyden Visits Country Coach

Junction City, OR — Country Coach, Inc., was recently visited by Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon. This was the Senator’s second visit to Country Coach in 2006.

“We are always pleased to host Senator Wyden when he comes to call,” commented Country Coach President Jay Howard. “His support of our employees, our Company, and the RV industry as a whole is very valuable to continued prosperity here in Lane County.”

In addition to visiting with Company executives and touring areas of the Country Coach campus, Senator Wyden spent nearly an hour fielding questions and brainstorming ideas with a large group of Country Coach employees, touching on subjects from education to health care and taxation.

“It’s always great to meet with folks at companies like Country Coach to talk about how the Federal government can do a better job creating an economic environment that will lead to more and better jobs,” U.S. Senator Ron Wyden said. “Country Coach is a leader in their industry and we’re proud to have them as an Oregon company.”

In the last few months, in addition to hosting visits from Senator Wyden, Country Coach has been host to visits from Oregon Governor Kulongoski and US Secretary of the Interior Kempthorne as the RV industry, and Country Coach specifically, grows in importance related to local, regional and national public policy.
