The 2007 National RV Trade Show will host the first ever “Network Fest”, an educational display that will demonstrate the features and benefits of “RV-C” (RV-Complete, a unique RV multiplexing system designed and approved by RVIA technical sub-committees).
This event is an interactive, hands-on, educational demonstration of RV-C compliant units that are networked together. Within a few minutes’ time, attendees can experience a variety of units “talking” and sending live signals to each other in one room – a simulation of what happens on an RV-C compliant coach. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer questions about RV-C and walk attendees through the demonstration. *
RV-C is an electronic network that allows coach components to communicate with each other and with diagnostic and control tools. When networked into the on-board system, components will be able to share electronic information in order to coordinate activities. In addition, a coach equipped with a RV-C network will have a single connector into which a technician can plug a service tool and download diagnostic information on every component in the RV-C network.
Conference Room C101 in the South Wing is being reserved for RV-C Network Fest. The demonstration will be open during regular show hours.
*Trade show exhibitors interested in submitting their RV-C compliant unit for use in the display should contact Gatie Gore, Standards Administrative Assistant, RVIA, for rules and entry application. Phone 703-620-6003/ 800-336-0154 Ext 348; Fax 703-620-5071; ggore@rvia.org.
