Four Winds International has introduced a new generation of upscale Kodiak Class C motorhomes. Models 36A and 36B are available in the Chateau, Dutchmen and Four Winds Class C lines. GVWR Chevrolet Kodiak chassis which boasts a gross combined weight rating of 30,000 lbs for maximum towing capability. The new models are power by a 330 horse power Duramax diesel engine and a heavy duty Allison 2350 Series 6-speed transmission. An E-Z ridet suspension system has also been employed to provide an ultra smooth ride with superior driving stability.

“The new Kodiak models have a great balance of style and power. They are high-end all the way around and complimented with a chassis that won’t disappoint,” said Scott Jacobson, National Sales Manager, Four Winds International.

Model 36A is a spacious triple slideout floor plan with a master king bed and two bunk beds built into one of the slide rooms. The bunk beds are available with either a single 19” LCD television across from the bunks or individual LCD monitors with head phones at each bunk. Model 36B is a double slideout floor plan with a large kitchen area and a master king bed. This model also features a roomy split bathroom with a full-size corner shower.

Both models are 37’ 6” long with 84” interior ceilings to give you plenty of room to move about the coach. Entertainment features for both models include a mid-ship 32” LCD television, a 26” LCD bedroom television and an optional home theater system. Elegant European style cabinetry is used throughout the coach along with a solid surface kitchen countertop to complete the ensemble. On the outside these models feature molded fiberglass front and rear caps, convenient side hinged luggage doors, an impressive 100 gallons of fresh water, and a 10,000 lb. hitch. Also available is an optional outside entertainment center that features a 26” LCD television and a stereo system with an integrated DVD player and iPod hook up. Base MSRP for the 36A is $146,930 and the 36B is $145,530.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. recently reveiled a never-seen-before, cutting edge floorplan at the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) Convention. "The 2009 Winnebago Outlook 30D is not your typical Class C motor home," said Winnebago Industries' Chairman of the Board, CEO and President Bob Olson. "One look inside the new 30D floorplan and you'll realize this is a totally different coach. The first-of-its-kind, double slide Winnebago Outlook 30D is striking, spacious and fun. The interior features an innovative layout with the bathroom and opposing wardrobe behind the front cab seats. The wardrobe is a great place for storage and also houses pull-out stair steps so you can easily access the front bunk. The front bunk area also features a skylight and an optional 15-inch LCD TV. A fully functional galley is just aft the entry door, with a U-shaped lounge nestled in the rear, driver's side slideout room. A sofa/sleeper is opposite the dinette and sits in the second slideout room on this model. In the back is an UltraLeather Euro chair and ottoman that are positioned so you can easily see the large 32-inch LCD TV that also includes a Home Theater Sound System.

"Along with the new Outlook 30D, they also showcased they totally redesigned Winnebago Aspect and Itasca Cambria lines, that feature the new 30C model that is our Company's first triple slide Class C," said Olson. The 1175R Refrigerator has a convenient push-button digital control which makes customizing and viewing its temperature effortless. Utilizing space to the maximum, this compact appliance features three adjustable, sleek, tempered glass shelves. The 1175R also has adjustable in-door storage for convenient access and increased capacity. Consuming less power than other under-counter refrigerators, it is Energy Star qualified. This attractive model is available in black, white and stainless steel. It measures 34-1/8" H x 23-15/16" W x 23-7/16" D.

The 1075F freezer also incorporates the same two adjustable in-door shelves and 3-1/2 adjustable, tempered glass shelves for storage of large or small items. Neither model requires a drain for installation. Both also have a field-reversible door and a front grille. For built-in applications, these units do not need extra air space for ventilation on top, sides or rear. They can also be free-standing. An optional door lock is also available for the black or white models. Both the 1175R and 1075F black or white models can accept a 1/4" custom panel to match surrounding décor.

The Doran 360RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System includes an optional, patent-pending 'sleep mode' which continues to monitor tire pressures, yet withholds alarms until the ignition is turned on. This feature alerts the driver to tire pressure problems at a time when they can be dealt with (rather than in the middle of the night) and won't cause unwanted disruptions.

In addition to the new sleep mode, the Doran 360RV provides the driver at- a-glance status updates with a new patent pending Green Means GOOD indicator. Installation can be accomplished without any special tools in about an hour, leaving no external antennas or exposed wires. A simple to understand and operate LCD screen display comes equipped with 4-way navigational buttons. Gold-plated heavy-duty truck-tested sensors deliver the longest life and corrosion resistance on the market. Multiple mounting options including an adjustable pedestal and a visor clip/hook and loop fastener bracket, allows the LCD screen to be mounted virtually anywhere.
