Prinz started in the industry with a supplier in 1968, but before long he was with Fleetwood and earning his way up through the company in several key sales and management positions. In 1986, Prinz joined Rockwood as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 1993 he joined Barth, Inc., eventually becoming a major shareholder. In 1995, he sold his interest i Barth and joined Jayco as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Prinz feels he and Potomac are a good fit. "Jim (Jim Johnson, President, Potomac RV) and I have known each other for a long time. I have a lot of respect for him and his approach to doing business. I’m a great believer that this business is built on relation- ships and Potomac is building wonderful manufacturer/dealer relationships."

Prinz is also a long time supporter of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) having served in several important positions including Chairman of the Board. He is currently serving on the RVIA’s National Show Committee and plans to remain active in the industry outside of Potomac.
