Every once in awhile you uncover
a marvel of modern business acumen that sets
a company apart from all the rest. Granted,
it is a rare occurrence, but when you find it
… you know it.
Better yet, they know it. They
know how to provide a level of service and
commitment to their customers that makes it
virtually impossible to duplicate.
They are so totally dedicated to
customer satisfaction that it is embedded in
everything they do and every employee on the
payroll.
This is what we learned when
we interviewed Ray Pelland, CEO and founder
of All-Rite … a company committed to personalized
service that manufactures individual custom products and delivers them in 24-48
hours. They are the undisputed leaders
in a very time sensitive segment of the RV
industry…they are the leading supplier and manufacturer
of exterior repair parts for the RV
aftermarket.
They are All-Rite.
And they are good. No, they are
very good. In fact, they are unbelievable.
They are also a dealer’s delight.
Consider what it costs our industry
when we cannot get RV’ers back on the road
when they have experienced an accident and
must wait weeks and months to get a
replacement part.
This is a story about building credibility
in our industry, not just custom built
replacement parts.
If you are a dealer or repair shop
you know exactly what I mean.
Nothing is more frustrating to
a consumer than being told that they will not
have the use of their RV because the original
manufacturer cannot stop a production line to make a
one-of-a-kind replacement part. The parts
incorporated into an RV are many and varied,
and often come from a myriad of different
manufacturers, some of whom are
no longer in business.
This is a logical explanation to
many, but certainly not the answer they want
to hear. They want to use the RV they spent
their hard-earned money on, and
they want to use it now.
