SkyDeck Industries LLC has
joined forces with RBW
Industries, Inc. in bringing the
first full-length RV-SuperSlide
to RV manufacturers.
The patent pending
SuperSlide obsoletes the need
for multiple slideouts in the
sidewalls of RVs.
With the new SuperSlide
technology, the RBW slideout
systems are nearly the fulllength
of a motorhome or travel
trailer, providing the most spacious
interiors possible in an
RV. While the RV industry is
moving toward 4 and 5 slideouts
in RVs, the result still produces
an eight-foot wide interior,
with little alcoves hanging
out the side of the RV.

The RBW SuperSlide moves
the sidewalls of an RV apart to
form true home-like spacious
interiors nearly the full length of
the RV.
Moreover, when two
SuperSlides replace four or five
conventional slideouts in an RV,
costs, complexity, and weight
goes down.
The near doublewide interior
space of a SuperSlide equipped
motorhome or trailer gives consumers
50% more living area
within the same RV length.
This means that a 30’
SuperSlide equipped RV is
equal to a 44’ long non-slide RV.
And because there is a lot
more interior space with
SuperSlide… motor homes and
trailers can be made shorter
while still giving more interior
space to consumers than available
in longer non-slide RVs.
This means that driving and
parking can be a whole lot easier
with a SuperSlide equipped
RV. For example, a 24 foot long
SuperSlide equipped RV (which
is about the same length as a
UPS delivery van… and is not
much longer than a SUV), provides
the same interior space as
a 35’ non-slide RV.
It is expected that these
shorter, handier, faster, less
costly, and more economical
SuperSlide equipped RVs will
appeal to the younger and more
active sector of the market.
Major brand motorhomes
and trailers featuring
SuperSlides will be formally
shown to the RV dealers
throughout the U.S. and
Canada at the Louisville RV
Show in December of this year.
"The SuperSlide eliminates
the stability issues inherent in
using multiple, smaller slides
while simultaneously increasing
the amount of usable living
space in a coach," said Jim
Teeter, president of SkyDeck
Industries. "The slideout
remains one of the most popular
RV innovations of the past
decade, and the SuperSlide is
the logical ‘next step’ in the evolutionary
process."
SkyDeck Industries LLC, a
high-technology vehicle design
firm, announced the multiple
pending patents and development
of the SuperSlide last
year. SkyDeck licensed RBW
Industries, Inc. as the exclusive
technology partner in bringing
the new SuperSlide System into
the market. The SuperSlide is
an element from the multiple
patents for Comprehensive RV
Construction Systems, which
include the rooftop SkyDeck,
the SuperPower Hybrid-Electric
Heavy-Vehicle Drive Systems,
Modular RV Systems, and two
new lines of Amphibious RVs.
The rooftop SkyDeck is in production
with Airstream, Thor
America, and Top Deck RVs.
"All of our current slide out
systems are specifically engineered
for each application of
our customers RVs, so making
the more sophisticated
SuperSlide System fits easily
within our specialized engineering
and manufacturing processes,"
explained Ray Blodgett,
president of RBW Industries,
Inc. "We expect the SuperSlide
will offer the OEM an opportunity
to develop new and creative
floor plans currently not available
due to existing space limitations.
