Chris Carpenter has joined John D. Carpenter Roba Associates as territorial manager for the midwest. Carpenter brings thirteen years experience in sales and marketing in the RV and manufactur-ed housing industries, to his new position. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Carpenter will expand the dealer/distributor educational programs hosted by the twenty-seven year old firm.

Douglas M. Formanek has been Formanek named paint manager at Win-nebago Indus-tries, Inc.

In his new position, For-manek will be responsible for the existing ex-terior paint line in the motor home plant as well as the new full body paint facility.

A twenty-eight year veteran, Formanek has held numerous positions throughout the company including senior material handler, quality circle facilitator, quality assurance engineer and most recently as paint line production supervisor.

Jim Reese has been appointed national sales manager of The Coast Distribution System. Reese has more than twenty years experience in the RV industry having held positions with Kevco and Coachmen. Since joining Coast in 1985, Reese has held the positions of vice president/general manager of the company's Denver, CO distribution center and most recently was vice president/regional sales manager for the Rocky Mountain/South Central region. In his new position he assumes responsibilities that include continued market and customer segment development, sales force positioning and the ongoing development of new business.

Anna Chiarenza has become an RV anna.gif (25477 bytes) technician at Gen-eral Trailer in Brownstown, MI. Anna is eighteen years old and joined the company a year ago as a porter. She is also attending school to become an auto mechanic.

 

Daryl Yoder has joined DTI as director of marketing. He brings thirty years of RV distribution, purchasing and marketing experience to his new post at North America's largest distributor of RV appliance parts. Yoder is responsible for all marketing strategies at the firm.

Tom Hatfield has been named general manager of Holiday RV Superstore's Roseville (Sacramento) CA branch. His career spans over twenty years in the RV industry.

John Halstvedt has returned to KOA 1 Kampgrounds of America to take the position of vice president, Licens-ing. Halstvedt, a former KOA licen-sing representative who left the firm to purchase the Estes Park KOA franchise, takes over the post left vacant by the retirement of Dave Johnson.

Kayla Alley has been promoted to Alley the position of media buyer at Wheeler Advertis-ing, Inc.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, where she attended on a full basketball scholarship, Alley most recently served as public relations specialist at Wheeler. She is a member of Kappa Tau Alpha, a national journalism honor society.

ProAir has announced four promotions with the company.

Jerry Mishler has been promoted to Mishler vice president of sales and marketing. Since joining ProAir in 1987 Mishler has play-ed a key role as sales manager for the company. His responsibilities include leadership of ProAir's sales organization, marketing and future product planning.

Chris Hazzard has been named Hazzard vice president of operations. He joined the company in 1996 as director of operations, and is re-sponsible for the company's organization of the production, materials, engineering and quality de-partments.

 

David LaVine is the company's vice LeVine president of fi-nance. LaVine joined ProAir in 1991 as controller. He is providing leadership in all accounting, finance, risk management, and benefits administration to the company.

 

Mike Smith has been appointed Smith vice president of ProAir Western Division in On-tario, CA. Since joining ProAir in 1993 Smith has held the tile of operations manager for the division. He has over twelve years of air conditioning and management experience. Smith will coordinate all western operation activities for the company.
