Velvac Introduces New Backup Alarms

Velvac has added a line of speaker-style backup alarms to their extensive offering of aftermarket products. Chemical-resistant, high impact housings protect internal components, and all electronics are epoxy sealed for trouble-free operation and safe steam cleaning. Units have an operating temperature range of -40°F to +185°F.

All seven models were designed with a universal flange for mounting to horizontal or vertical surfaces. Each unit is polarity and voltage protected to operate properly even with wiring inaccuracies or voltage spike occurrences.

Fastback II Tonneau Cover

The new Fastback II is the ultimate in flush mounted hard tonneau covers. Its "magic hinge" allows easy, no drill, clamp-on installation for all trucks. By design the magic hinge insures full motion for opening and closing and yet allows complete removal of the Fastback II when raised beyond 45°. Opening can be done with one finger - pulling on the cheater cord accompanied by a gentle upward lift allows the gas struts to lift and hold the cover open. Closing is just as easy. Close the tailgate, then push down on the cover and the Fastback II will slam shut. A continuous piece of weather guard trim with welded corners seals between the cover and the truck bed blocking the entry of water, rain, snow and ice. The Fastback II has a smooth, black, paintable, low maintenance, fiberglass reinforced plastic surface which is bonded to a new core material called Sturdy Core which is very strong, eliminates any potential of warping, sinking or melting and is dent resistant. All mounting hardware is easy to install clamp-on style bracketry. Trucks without side rails require pop riveting for side attachments.

Because the Fastback II is flush mounted it allows the use of the stake pockets for rails or other accessories. It rests within the bed of the truck so it never detracts from the clean lines of the truck.
