Go Rving Ads Could Turn Out to be the Best Direct Response Campaign Ever
According to Eisner and Associates, the Go Rving ads are pulling better than any other direct response campaign they’ve conducted in the past six years. Gary LaBella, RVIA vice president, public relations, said, “But to provide independent corroboration, we are studying how Go RVing’s results compare to other direct response campaigns.
“From the Direct Marketing Association, we have learned of two comparable campaigns for big ticket items offering free videos to toll free callers. A 1990 Alfa Romeo campaign drew 27,280 requests in 20 weeks; in under half the time, we are just 3,500 shy of that total. Nissan received 35,000 calls in an entire year from a 1995 campaign budgeted at $2.7 million, similar to our budget. We will very likely surpass their response in just five months.
“We’ve compiled well over 24,000 leads in 11 weeks.”
