ToadStop Vac Brake Joins Blue Ox Product Line

 

Blue Ox has announced the addition of the ToadStop Vac Brake to its line of RV towing products. The ToadStop Vac Brake permanently installs on all power-assisted vehicles, and is designed to operate using the same 12V-DC that powers the RV brake light. The Vac Brake activates with adjustable braking action that accurately duplicates the RV's own perfect stop. ToadStop won't lock brakes, even on gravel or wet surfaces, and it can be remote-activated in downhill situations to keep the towed vehicle from pushing the RV.

NewPlug-Guard Secures, Protects Trailer's Electrical Connection

Plug-Guard, a  unique, patent pending device from R&H Specialties protects the male plug of a trailer's wiring harness with remarkable simplicity.

The plastic device quickly installs on the trailer frame with two screws and it is ready for use. A spring-loaded cover opens, allowing the electrical plug to be inserted. A plastic tab on the cover fits snug to the plug, securing and holding it in place. There are no electrical connections.

Once inserted, the plug is protected from moisture, snow or rain as well as other airborne particles that could damage the electrical connection part of the plug. Because the device is mounted on the trailer frame, it is off the ground and protected from abuse if the trailer is accidentally moved.

New Slope Indicators from R&B

Several models of Slope Indicators designed for use in RVs are now available from R&B Mfg.
