The Good GovernorTM

The use of generators and inverters to supply AC power is on the rise. We use them in our RVs, vacation cabins, even when we go camping. Portable AC power is very convenient but it needs to be properly regulated. Improperly regulated AC power can cause serious damage to many of those creature comfort devices such as TVs, VCRs, audio equipment and computers that we use. The Good Governor was created to eliminate these problems.

Good Governor is both an AC line tester and a calibration tool that plugs directly into an AC outlet. As a line tester, it indicates the most common faults between AC hot, AC neutral, and ground terminals. As a calibration tool, it measures the AC line voltage and line frequency so you can accurately adjust the appropriate regulation setting of the generator or the inverter.

Industry’s 1st Class II Load Leveling Hitching System Introduced

Reese Products is introducing the Ultra Level Class II Load Leveling System™ (patent pending) for use on today’s soft suspension mini-van and sport utility vehicles. It is the first system ever designed for use with Class II hitches.

This system helps distribute trailer tongue weight and level the tow vehicle and trailer while assisting in controlling trailer sway. It’s perfect for use with fold down camping trailers, small utility trailers and boat and jet ski trailers. It is rated at 220 pounds tongue weight and 2,200 gross trailer weight.

The Reese Ultra Level is easy to use. The ball mount bolts on to any existing Class II ball mount, such as the Reese Shadow Class II hitch. The spring bars hook onto a specially designed Clip Up bracket that is bolted onto the trailer frame. The Clip Up bracket has three tension settings and does not need a frame adapter for use on traditional A frame or Single Pole Tongue trailers. Each hitch is protected with a durable powder coated paint finish and carries Reese’s limited lifetime warranty.

For more info contact your distributor or the Reese customer service department at 800-326-0435.

 Hitch Playte

The Hitch Playte is a two part assembly that allows one person to align a trailer to a vehicle in one attempt. The Hitch Playte can be used on a vehicle’s bumper or receiver hitch. Here’s how it works: Simply remove the existing hitch ball, place the base plate onto the bumper or receiver hitch, reinstall and torque the hitch ball. When you’re ready to hook up, place the Hitch Playte’s v-guide into the slots of the base plate. With the v-guide secured, you are now ready to align and hook up to the trailer in one attempt without assistance. When the trailer tongue touches any part of the v-guide it is automatically guided along and comes to rest right over the hitch ball. Remove the v-guide from the base plate and you’re ready to hit the road.
