U.S. and Canadian RV dealers will once again gather in Las Vegas in February, the scene of the ninth annual Coast Distribution Dealer Advantage Buying Show. The show is scheduled for February 3 - 5, at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino.

Coast officials say that because of the continued growth of the show over the past years the Tropicana's Exhibit Hall booth space is completely sold out.

Jim Stark, senior vice president - marketing, said, "The 1996 show was a huge success for everyone involved. U.S. and Canadian dealers purchased millions of dollars in pre-season inventory during the 21 hours of buying time. The show also featured approximately 300 dealers from several European countries, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. These same groups will be returning to the show in 1997 and looking for great show deals and new products to take home."

To help prepare dealers to make the most of their time while at the show, Coast will be producing a Buying Show Catalog that will be mailed to all registered dealers prior to the show. The catalog will include a list of exhibitors and their products, as well as special pricing, ordering information, and sample order forms. Stark said, "This catalog proved to be extremely helpful in preparing dealers for the show and optimizing their time."

Tim McGuire, president and CEO, told RV News, "Dealers can expect some surprises this year. We're preparing a new package of programs designed to help them compete in a dramatically changing marketplace."
