The National Association of
RV Parks and Campgrounds
(ARVC) has selected Pine Acres
Family Camping Resort of
Oakham, Massachusetts, as the
recipient of the Best Large Park
of the Year, 2003-2004. The
award was announced at
Insites, the association’s recent
annual convention and expo in
Las Vegas.
The association’s awards of
excellence are presented annually
and are designed to recognize
the industry’s best in three
categories: RV parks and
campgrounds, state associations,
and individual national
leadership. The largest category,
RV parks and campgrounds,
recognizes those parks that are
leading the industry in innovation,
excellence, marketing and
service. The Best Large Park of
the Year (defined as a park with
251-499 sites) falls within that
category.
“It’s an honor to receive this
prestigious award,” said Randy
Packard, owner and operator of
Pine Acres Family Camping
Resort. “Ours is a family campground,
and it’s our goal to
make sure our visitors can
unwind, enjoy our park, the
beautiful surroundings, and
have the vacation they’re looking
for. We’re thrilled that our
hard work not only gives our
campers such a wonderful experience,
but has also been recognized
and awarded by our
peers.”
Pine Acres, nestled among
historic New England towns in
central Massachusetts, offers
year-round camping and amenities
ranging from tent sites to
rustic cabins to luxurious rental
cabins and on-site trailers. The
park is situated on 70 acres
and offers more than a mile of
lake-front property with swimming,
boating, fishing and other
water sports available. RVN
