Dexter Axle Introduces Predator DX2
Electric Brake Controller

Dexter Axle Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of electric trailer brakes, has begun production on their new Predator Series of brake actuation systems. Their first offering is the Predator DX2, an inertia-activated controller for all single and tandem axle trailers equipped with electric brakes. The DX2 uses patented pendulum technology for smooth, proportional braking between the tow vehicle and trailer. The next model introduction will be the Predator DX3 (1-3 axles) which will start shipping this summer.

The Predator DX2 features a digital LED that displays voltage output and assists with leveling set-up; power window that provides a numeric visual indication of gain settings; a mounting range of -35 to 90 degrees; an independent manual slide lever that overrides the gain setting for full braking power; a manual override that provides braking power at whichever setting is greater (gain or manual) instead of first dropping to zero output; and short circuit protection that prevents damage to the controller and tow vehicle. The Predator DX2 comes with a 7-year limited warranty and exceeds NHTSA regulations by illuminating the trailer’s brake lights when the manual slide is used.

The 100% solid state design with standard 4-wire hook-up Predator DX2’s patented deceleration sensor reacts instantly to any change in brake pedal pressure and applies the trailer brakes at the same rate as the tow vehicle brakes.

Trac-King In-Motion Satellite System

The new Trac-King In-Motion Satellite System from King-Dome offers the latest in satellite tracking technology. Using DVB technology for positive satellite identification, just push a button and the dish will automatically find and track the satellite of your choice. If your channels are broadcast from multiple satellite locations like DISH 500, a standard feature lets you move back and forth between specific satellites while parked or driving. The Trac-King system is compatible with all receivers for DirecTV, DISH Network and ExpressVU. A single coaxial cable connects the dome to the controller inside the coach, so vehicles that are pre-wired with RG-6 coaxial cable do not require additional cables through the roof.

The new King-Dome Semi-Automatic domed satellite dish provides all of the advantages of a domed system at a fraction of the cost. A digital readout of elevation and azimuth allows you to point the dish to the coordinates found in your receivers’ dish pointing screen. Press the up and down arrow buttons to select your desired elevation, then the left and right arrow buttons to point the dish towards the southern sky. A unique level compensation feature keeps the dish on a level plane while moving side to side, even when the coach is off level. King-Dome is compatible with any receiver for DirecTV DISH Network and Bell ExpressVU.
