Tow Bar/Load Platform/Utility Trailer

Equipment storage has always been an issue for RV owners. Large items such as scooters, bicycles, inflatable rafts and handicap vehicles are especially difficult to transport. An innovative new concept, the Haul-About, solves this problem by combining a strong Class III tow bar with a 4' x 5' load platform.

The Haul-About replaces the present tow bar and attaches to the RV and dinghy utilizing the existing hitch and base plate. Its only effect on towing or braking is to move the dinghy approximately 48" back in relation to the RV , providing improved visibility for the driver. It has a 500 lb. capacity in the tow bar mode and 1,000 lb. rating in its utility trailer configuration. The 18" high platform offers simple loading of heavy and awkward items.

AutoStop Gold Has 5 Year Warranty

An adjustable spring mechanism to activate the towed vehicle's brakes, replaces the old shock absorber system, on Automatic Equipment's second generation supplemental braking system, named AutoStop Gold. The new mechanism allows users to fine-tune the unit to accommodate different car weights and personal preferences in activation sensitivity.

AutoStop Gold, with its 5-year warranty, will decrease stopping distances by 20% to 33% while towing a vehicle, according to the manufacturer.
