Chris Carpenter has been
named Chief
Operating
Officer, for JR
Products. "Chris
is a strong,
dynamic leader.
He is well
respected within
the company, the industry, and
the community. We believe he
is eminently qualified to lead JR
Products into the future, and
our decision was unanimous,"
said owners Susan Carpenter,
Sally Moore, and Douglas Roba.
Chris, a native of
Bloomington, Indiana joined the
company in 1998. Previously,
he held several positions within
the industry through distribution
and retail sales. Prior to
working in this industry, Chris
worked within the Wal-Mart
chain overseeing the everyday
operations of several stores.
"I am pleased and honored
to be given this opportunity,"
Chris explains. "With this position
I hope to help JR Products
grow to the next level in the RV
aftermarket. We have some very
aggressive plans, which include
setting some industry standards
in lead times, consumer
contacts, and a strong push of
introducing new products to the
aftermarket industry. I look forward
to being a part of the JR
Products leadership team".
JR Products manufactures
and distributes parts and
accessories to the recreational
vehicle aftermarket.
Ken Kaczmarek has been
appointed a member of Spartan
Motors board of directors.
Kaczmarek is a veteran automotive
and heavy-truck executive
with nearly four decades of
experience in finance. He will
serve on the board's audit committee,
which is chaired by
independent director Charles
Nihart. Kaczmarek's appointment
expands the number of
Spartan Motors board members
to seven, four of which are
independent.
Meyers RV Super Store has
named Dave McMann vice
president of
sales and marketing
for all RV
Super Store
locations, which
include Buffalo,
Syracuse,
Rochester and
the Southern Tier. Dave’s past
experience has ranged from
retail sales to general manager
of multi line auto stores and 2
RV stores.
Mark Calzone has been
named vice president and chief
operating officer.
Mark has 7
years experience
with Meyers RV
Super Store.
Mark is also a
certified public
accountant and
has 2 years
experience in manufacturing.
Michelle McGuirk has been
appointed secretary treasurer
for the corporation.
Michelle
has 10 years of
experience with
Meyers RV
Super Store
ranging from
business manager
of payroll, payables and
receivables clerk. Michelle has
an A.A.S. from MCC in business.
Doris Ringwald has been
appointed Procurement
Administrator at Safety Vision.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in
Industrial Engineering, and an
MBA from the University of
Houston, Doris comes well
qualified. Her professional profile
includes contract negotiation,
procurement, inventory
management, and price management.
Mike Thelander will be assuming
responsibility for Blue Ox’s
east coast territory. He joined
the Blue Ox team in August of
last year, and has worked in the
RV industry for over twenty
years. His focus has been to
educate customers on safety
and handling. Mike has presented
seminars in all 48 states
and 4 Canadian provinces, at
dealer open houses, RV shows
and rallies, and most recently
for the RVIA dealer satellite
training and Life on Wheels
conferences.
Mike will be responsible for
working with the Company’s
dealers.
