Fleetwood RV Announces
New
Ultra-Lite Pegasus and Orbit Hybrid Trailers
Fleetwood RV,
a leading manufacturer
of recreational
vehicles, has
announced the
launch of the 2006
Pegasus and Orbit
hybrid trailers. These
new innovative ultralite
trailers were
designed to maximize
payload capacity,
addressing customers’
needs for
lighter-weight trailers
to be towed by a
new generation of
SUVs and pickup trucks with higher fuel economy.
Fleetwood’s new
Pegasus and Orbit
hybrid trailers feature aluminum framed
laminated
construction with
Sunbrella® fold-out
tents for added
sleeping quarters and more living
space. Each brand will have four
different floor plans to choose from,
each offering ample sleeping accommodations,
storage space and style.
The lengths range from 19' - 26',
each with a generous 8' width and
80'' interior ceilings. The standard
dry weight ranges from 3,400
pounds to 4,200 pounds.
The exterior styling on the
Pegasus and Orbit hybrids gives
towable customers an exciting new lightweight product
with colorful graphics and a streamlined design. The aerodynamic
front profile, low floor height and independent
torsion suspension system enhance towability.
The interior design complements the exterior with
curved shape countertops and stylized window valances.
Special emphasis was placed on interior storage, including large overhead cabinets
accommodating full size dinner plates and bulky items.

Showcases Best of Brand Partnership
The newly released Airstream Quiksilver Edition demonstrates the power of
partnerships for branding and enhancing product design. Limited to 50 customized

16 ft trailers, the best design features from
both firms are brought to bear. Stylish and
surfer hip, the Airstream Quiksilver
Edition delivers on the cache and iconography
of two giants from different lifestyle
categories: Airstream in travel trailers and

The QSE Bambi extends Airstream’s
plan to explore lifestyle markets through
